ES&C Receives HUBZone Certification

BLACKSBURG, VA (12/15/2003) - Environmental Services & Consulting (ES&C) received certification as a "qualified HUBZone small business concern (SBC)" today. This certification now makes ES&C eligible to receive HUBZone contracting opportunities. The HUBZone Empowerment Contracting program was enacted into law as part of the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997. The program falls under the auspices of the US Small Business Administration. The program encourages economic development in historically underutilized business zones - "HUBZones" - through the establishment of preferences.

ES&C is always looking for better ways to service both our Public and Private Sector clients. HUBZone certification allows our current and potential clients, with goaling objectives, access to our services which they otherwise would not be able to use.
